About
By day and by paycheck I’m a software developer in Northern Virginia, before coming home to my wife, two kids, and a dog.
I’ve been making photographs off and on since my freshman year in high school, where I took a class that I used my dad’s old Chinon CM-4 for and learned to develop and print in the darkroom. As fun as that is, I haven’t kept up with film and switched to digital in 2011, around the time I was going on a San Diego to San Francisco road trip with some of my friends from college. Getting that camera (a Canon Rebel XS) rejuvenated my interest, and things picked up from there.
Being a suburban dad to school-age kids with a full-time job has slowed me down some (and I’ve certainly reverted back to a simple GWC—guy with camera—for some spells) but even when the flame isn’t going the pilot light’s stayed lit.
