THE Scavenger Hunt

THE Photography Scavenger Hunt, which was originally the Chrysta Rae Scavenger Hunt on Google+ was my first real introduction to online photography communities. Every couple of months there would be sign-ups, you'd all get the same list of (usually) 10 words and have a month or two to shoot, then you would submit your photos for judging. It was fun and responsible for most of the friends I've made through photography ever. My own commitment to shooting the lists I signed up for has waxed and waned, but it's still some of the most fun I've had shooting.
